The royal envoy does not arrive at magnolia park to play chess. She does not arrive by herself and when I try to summon her she does not come. I can call her to my home lot but she will not play chess there.

Also just to add I tried a new save, no luck. Same thing happened
So we had the envoy show up, we played chest for hours and didn't win. Then she left and she won't come back. She did get pregnant. Tried the same thing on a different save and she just doesn't show up at all on that save. We moved her into a house to try to fix it and it didn't work.
For me she showed up initially, we played chess, the event did not complete, then I went home and now, similarly to everyone else on this topic, she is gone from the relationships tab and when I call her through the special event option when you click on your sim nothing happens, the action goes through but she does not appear, I can't travel to a lot via my phone and choose her to acompany me there because she is nowhere to be found in the relationships tab either.
I checked, the envoy did NOT move into a new house. Still listed as not in a house.
I've tried all of the solutions out there and none of them work. The workaround I used was to buy a chessboard and set it up on my lot and the Envoy came over, played for about 90 seconds, lost, got ticked off and left. I put the chessboard in my inventory and proceeded to the next quest. It was a waste of 450 simoleons, but my sim is a bestselling author, so I wrote a book to make up for the cost. Shouldn't have had to go through the waste of time or resources but it DID resolve the problem. So uh... how about adding the 450 back to my account, EA? If not for your buggy game, I wouldn't be here further wasting more of my time.

For me the issue started because the envoy showed up at a different park (not Magnolia Blossom) which was right next to my Sims' house. Now that I wanted to go play chess she was nowhere to be found, so I traveled to Magnolia Blossom, but the Envoy is not there. I waited a while, traveled back home and to the park again a few times. Checked homes in other worlds, didn't see her, tried other saves, nothing.
I also have the Envoy in contact list of one of my characters, but I can't invite her to current lot.
