Lot information icon shining all the time (Patch 1.113/2.08)

Can confirm this has stopped on Xbox Series X after adding the new pack. But I'd really like to see an end to any flickering/glowing/flashing things of this nature. We've asked for that for quite some time and there are some serious reasons for that. But at least this is no longer an issue, for me at least.

I'm waiting to buy the new pack because I don't want to buy things until EA can fix their issues. This is getting goofy. So many issues because of a pack.

I'm having trouble ever since the first march 2025 update came and with Build/buy mode. After the first update that gave us a lot challenge, Heist Havoc, reintroducing burglars; my Venue button the little house looking thing in the upper left hand conner hasn't stopped flashing! I get distracted easily and this is so noticeable i put tap over part of my monitor so I could build and not get to overstimulated. It's honestly not the biggest problem but there's another person who also had this same issue who posted recently but the comments on the post are turned off?!? So no one can offer a solution or say the same thing is happening to them? I hope that after the most recent update the flashing would stop but its still there! A friend told me that last update was for the new business's and hobbies pack so maybe the flashing will stop if I download the new pack but that shouldn't be the solution it doesn't really even make any cents but I've tried everything at this point. Honestly I was going to buy the new pack but I'm gonna buy it just to be frustrated with the flashing little house in the conner! Has anyone else had this issue?

I have dyslexia so I'm sorry if this is hard to read: basically the Venue button keeps flashing even after I interacted with it and the new lot challenge and its annoying me!

This is happening to me too, literally uninstalled and reinstalled my entire game to try and fix it and it still persists 😭 it genuinely distracts me so much 

Mac player here and it been happening ever since the new lot challenge for Burglars was added today is march 20th and there was an update to fix bugs in business and hobbies and a couple other pack bugs but it didn't fix this issue. I want the new pack and I want to build with it but this is so overstimulating I had to cover part of my monitor with tape!

I covered my monitor with tape a month ago and shortly afterwards just took it off and stopped playing the sims 4.

I logged on for the first time yesterday because I hoped they fixed this and still nothing.

I don't think they know how big of an issue this is to a large part of their player base because i would assume it seems so insignificant if you're not neurodivergent and/or just bothered by things like this. The game is straight up unplayable to some of us right now :(

I can't even use tape on my laptop and had to stop playing in build mode. Amazing.

I opened my game up for the first time since December and clocked this bug immediately. It's such a small thing but incredibly annoying-overstimulating with how frequent it is. 

I remember this being fixed and not having to worry about it for months. Incredibly annoying that bugs like these are still occuring in a nearly 11 year old game.
