Everytime I go to edit a lot it completely deletes and is gone. I have repaired my game and it still does it. I don't have any Mods or cc. So it's not that. I can't edit any lot without it being auto...

Could you please provide the following information
- Did you never have mods/cc or remove them ? Please pick a thread tag for that.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.
- Did you have this issue on a new save as well or only a particular save?

im using a pc and its new and old saves
Can you try the following:
- Make sure you make hidden Windows folders unhidden
- Open Windows Explorer to the following path in the background: C:\Users\<your windows user name>\AppData\Local\Temp\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\scratch
- If there's a scratch folder there, delete it. Leave the folder open
- Start the game. A new scratch folder should be created in that folder as well as a scratch folder with a number within that.
- Start a new save game
- Enter the folder scratch_<number> and check if there are lots of files created by the game or if that stays empty.
- Report back with the result for further steps
Hi, I'm having the same issue. I started a completely new save file and everything was fine at first, but after some time I began getting several problems:
When I entered my Sim's house, the neighboring lots would disappear completely, as if there were no houses there.
Sometimes the neighboring houses would revert to their original versions, as if none of my changes had been saved.
Eventually, when I entered a lot (both residential and community lots), everything would disappear and the lot would be completely empty.
I've already tried two different save files from scratch. One save was with mods and the other was without any mods, but the exact same problem happened in both saves. Do you know what could be causing this? Also, I can't find the folder you mentioned in your instructions.
