I found a work around so my Sim does not get a negative milestone. And I don't have to use mods.
I moved Cassandra back in with her parents (the Goth's) Then I saved them to my library. (I didn't play with them before. So they didn't have many relationships. Only with my sims family.) Deleted the "old" household and put the Goths from the gallery back in to their house. (the family relationship from the Goth's is still as it should be, because Cassandra was in their household when I put them in the gallery) Now my sim only had to build the relationship with Cassandra and marry her again. He still has a fall in love and marriage milestone from before without a name (She also, but with his name), but no negative ones from breaking up. Now she is pregnant with their first child. And in my story telling they married twice because the first time the family wasn't able to attent the wedding.
It's not the way it should be, but it's a work around for now with no negative milestones and without mods.
English is not my native language. I hope you understand the way I did this. Console players should be able to use this work around too.
Still hoping the Simsteam is going to fix this bug in the future!
You could also only upload one of the sims effected by this bug to your gallery. Delete the effectedsim and put the sim you saved to the gallery back in his/her/them family. Use fulleditmode to fix the relationship with the family. In this way you don't loose the familytree If you play a long lagecy. You still have to fix the relationship with the other Sim. To be safe I wouldn't cheat but do it in game, first kiss and all. This way they should be able to woohoo again and continue the legacy.

I used MCCC to reset their relationship but having them do the entire courtship thing was taking way too long. So, I decided to take them back into cas.fulleditmode, only to find I wasn't allowed to change their relationship status. 😮 Oh, come on! Back in game, I cleared their marriage, and that allowed me to make them spouses in CAS again. Phew. I've had to 'fix' this more than once. I'm hoping this third time is the charm.
