My two sims who are married keep “resetting” as in snapping back into just standing there and cancelling interactions when being social with each other. Example: they’re sitting down talking and all of a sudden they’ll snap to standing up and all the queued interactions are gone. It only happens between these two, but it means they can’t talk to each other and won’t do/finish any romantic interactions which has led to one of them being very unsatisfied and threatening divorce. As said, it doesn’t happen when interacting with anyone else
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.I saw some other people who had the same issue and found a workaround by using MC command center to delete their relationship and cheat it back to how it was, and it's working fine now. Apparently it only happens with sims who have been in a romantic relationship with each other since they were teens and aged up while still together. I tried to test it with a new save but then it worked without issue.
