[MOD RELATED] Items disappearing from inventories

Hi there,

I got today's update, and I made sure not to have the mods in the folder while it updated. When I went to look for my Bark magazine and werewolf book in my inventory, I saw that they're no longer there. I then went to the bookcase, and there were no books at all. I went to the library in the werewolf world, and again, the same thing. All the books are gone. 

How do I get them back?

I just updated my game and all of the items from my sims inventory have been deleted 

I play with no mods and I play on the PC 

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
-  What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)

today i updated my game turned on my mods and loaded into one of my family saves and i realized that all of my sims  inventory items were pretty much gone, all that was left was some upgrade parts and a camera, i had wayy more items in there. this also happened to the fridge, toy box and a bookcase, everything was gone!! i played for a little bit (bought my sims their items back to their inventory) and after reloading the game the items were gone once again. how do i fix this? i cannot play the game like this im really disappointed!! i play on pc

I don’t play with mods and I use a laptop to play 

No, they are not just placing it down. It disappears from my three teen sims and my child sim randomly at the same time every so often since I started playing after today's update. I have replaced the homework a couple of times already.  The only mod I have is MCC, which hasn't released its update yet, but I took it out, and it was still happening. I do have the high school year pack, so I'm wondering if it's that. All I know is it started after updating my game today's

• At which point do they disappear ? When travelling with the Sim ? Loading into the game ?
• Does it happen to all Sims or only certain ones ?

Yess the same thing happened to me! All of my sims harvested plants disappeared. And I just made a report about Sims' homework continuously disappearing, but I just noticed the harvestables have disappeared again!? ( My game is open as im reporting these haha) 

I am really upset, I have spent so much time on this save currently playing cottage living, everytime I open the game, travel, or do nothing, my sims inventory keeps going, items I worked for completely gone, the relationship with chickens and cows reset everytime I open the game. Im not sure what to do. This has only happened since the update 18/09/2025. The sims inventory also includes my fridge inventory, everything in my fridge dissapears
