I don't have simply living on and can't cook anything everything is greyed out, until I get ingredients. My sims can cook without the ingredients on their own. I tested with and without mods and CC. I cleared both cache and local thumb cache along with online thumbnail cache.

I have tried all troubleshooting steps.

Have you tried a clean user folder and a game repair yet ?
Yes, it happens in all households. The check mark doesn't change anything.

What happens (for testing) if you remove the prepped ingrediants check mark ?
