Neighborhood Stories occur while disabled

I am playing several households in rotation, one week per household. I have Neighborhood Stories enabled for "Other Households", except that I have disabled "Die in Accidents". I have Neighborhood Stories disabled for "My Households".

The last few weeks, I have still been getting these Neighborhood Stories events from "My Households" when they are not currently active. I have seen Friendship Changes, Romance Changes, and Have a Baby events. Sometimes the active Sims get phone calls from my inactive Sims announcing the change. Sometimes I discover the change when I start playing that household again.

I'm on a Mac, no cc, mods removed (and then the game reset per your instructions in a response to a previous bug report).

As this report contains multiple bugs and we may already have active dedicated bug report threads opened for them here "Compiled list of reported issues" this thread has been closed.

If there isn't an active thread dedicated to each of the bugs you're experiencing in the link above, please go ahead and create a new bug report, one per each individual bug after testing if the issues persist after removing any mods/cc. That way, we can track things easier and provide relevant information regarding the specific bug.
