Off the grid lot challenge keeps lot from loading/ Error 109:f967dc7f

autumnfall101  Does the lot use the Off the Grid challenge?  If so, please remove it.  You can choose Load Game rather than Resume, select the lot on the Manage Worlds screen, and enter Build mode.

Hi, I am having the same issue but i can not access my save file to remove the lot challenge because I can (far as i know) only open up my save file by starting to play the faulty household... wich is taking infinity to load... Any idea how i can access the save file in another way?

After searching this forum I came to the conclusion that the reason one certain househould wouldn't load is because of the lot they were on: one with the off the grid challenge. My problem: I didn't know about this issue when I left the game, so now I can't go into my save file because the last household I played with was the one on the bugged lot. I've seen that this issue can be resolved by removing the lot trait but I can not load the save file at all... I think? Or is there a way to load into a different household than the last one I played with?

The option to switch to dx9 is a small check box on the video page of settings.   It's on the right side just under the view distance drop box.

Having the same issue, been having it for the past few weeks.  Sometimes I can get it to work, but most times I can't.  I repaired, I uninstalled, I reinstalled, I removed the EA folder from documents, I thought it was fixed, made a new game started over from scratch, today it's not working again.  I like to play off the grid.    Set it back to dx9, now it won't even load.  I was looking forward to the next pack, but I'm not paying any more money for a game I can't play.  Can't even finish the challenge.

EA doesn't really care about the Sims and wants to break it so nobody buys the next game the only explanation to them breaking something every single time a new update is released is that someone who works at EA is intentionally Causing bugs and I can bet this will never be fixed if they do it with take them a year or two at least and that's really my honest opinion of the travesty known as The Sims 4 and electronic arts

They care about making money from new broken packs, they don't care about the players who have been trying to make this broken game work since the beginning.  When you have to rely on volunteer modders to make your game work as intended, then you need a new line of work.

This was never in the patch notes but this issue looks fixed.
