ive just downloaded the sims on my pc again after having given up on it in the past, and since i downloaded all the dlcs i have on the game they were first showing up were inacessible, and saying i needed to restart the ea app. that didnt work, so i searched it up on this forum and followed a tutorial. so then i deleted the dlc downloads from the steam download and downloaded them again from the ea app. when i finished downloading them all and started the game up again they werent showing up at all. help please i just want to play the game i hate ea

No help here, I'm sorry. Just replying to say that I'm having the exact same issue. I went as far as going into my program files and deleting the folders manually. I'm thinking there must be a bug. I'm going to post, too.

tanquilsio TheKrumptstien This is the bug report for packs being installed but deactivated:
Packs showing as deactivated in-game | EA Forums - 13261188
You can reenable them under Marketplace > My Collection > Pack Selection.
However, tanquilsio on the off chance you have two copies of Sims 4 installed now, and the packs aren't even showing as installed within the game, please see this guide to missing DLC:

turns out it was the packs being deactivated. thanks for the help! although i dont understand why they would make it deactivated by default lol!
