Packs/Worlds showing as deactivated in-game/Not active after purchase

I decided to buy horse ranch yesterday on the sale and it’s not working. I’ve been in touch with EA, we tried several things and nothing worked. It says from the EA app that it’s installed and downloaded, but when I enter into the game it says the world not installed and once downloaded to restart the sims 4. Is this because of the update yesterday?

The purchased and installed Hooray for College add-on appears as deactivated in the game

Omg seriously this is all I had to do, and I’ve just spent the last hour talking to the EA team trying ABSOLUTELY everything to get the pack to work. Thank you queeeen ❤️

Hey everyone, I'm having the same issue but mine is a bit trickier. It's specifically Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day and Get To Work. These were activated via codes, on release, through the EA app (Origin at the time). Through the new pack selection menu, other packs have checkboxes and are tagged as installed. These ones do not have checkboxes, and say they are Not Installed. I can't select them. They also show up greyed out in-game through the pack picker in buy/build either. Picture attached. I have packs through Steam and EA app, and launch the game through Steam.

EDIT: I've attempted to repair the game and that did not fix it.

EDIT #2: Spooky Stuff, Perfect Patio and Cool Kitchen are also not showing up.

EDIT #3: SOLVED! For some reason my packs were uninstalled and I had to redownload them via the EA app and activate them in-game. Not sure what happened. But it's fixed!

Mine is doing the same thing! Did you get yours figured out?! I haven’t tried again since yesterday.

I downloaded sims 4 yesterday and bought life & death, seasons, cats and dogs, realm of magic and perfect patio. I downloaded these to the game last night and everything was fine. 

this morning I have gone to download city living which I bought last night too and it downloads then when I go in game it says world not installed. 
I have tried everything to try fix it, I have uninstalled the pack and redownloaded it, cleared cache, I’ve also repaired the game on the EA app. I don’t know if this is part of the ongoing problems after the update yesterday. I also use a few mods

If so, you can reenable your pack(s) under Marketplace > My Collection > Pack selection.

I had to uninstall my full sims 4 game after the 3/17/2026 update then when I reinstalled base game plus some packs and kits it showed that it did but once I got in game only thing that showed was base game! I repaired game, cleared the cache & even uninstalled/reinstalled 3 times more times...plus deleted the EA app and reinstalled that just in case...everything in the ea app says it downloads fine and in the sims 4 pack file has the packs...so idk what to do?
