long time sims 4 player here and this is the first time i have ever encountered this problem after buying and downloading a new pack
when i go to resume my game it wont let me travel to the new world saying it is not installed yet even though when i check my packs and content in the EA app it shows that the pack is installed. none of the build items are showing up either. it also doenst show up when i go to start a new game/when im checking in cas as well.
i already tried managing my add ons, repairing my game, clearing my EA app cache, and even uninstalled the sims 4 and uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app itself.
idk what else there is to do that might help but if anyone can help that would be great ๐ค

Removing the userSetting worked! Definitely recommend doing that when you have dlcs that you own but arenโt showing up ๐๐ป

I have downloaded growing together, cottage living, parenthood and laundry day. The only one that works is cottage living. It says that all of them are installed on EA and EA has taken the money from my bank account. I don't have any mods or anything installed. Help me!

Love Track Expansion Pack not showing items after installation. I purchased the pack for The Sims 4, but after installing, no new items appear. I verified the installation, but all content is still missing. Please help resolve this issue.

I bought eco lifestyle 2 days ago and installed it, it did the 'welcome to eco lifestyle thing' but i went into CAS and there was nothing there. In the CAS pack filter it says 'you don't own this content'. I've tried repairing the game, deleting all mods and packs, uninstalling the game, repairing again and the mac has been restarted several times and still nothing. It says I have eco lifestyle installed in EA app and still nothing every time I reload.
I don't know whether it's because of the recent update as I've seen some have had issues with it, or if i'm just missing something.
Thank you

Thank you very much <3 I love you krynica for that solution T^T<3
Mikyla0499โ If you haven't uninstalled yet, try deleting UserSetting.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. This holds data for what packs have been deactivated and can get corrupted.

I have The Sims 4 installed through Steam, and my Steam account is correctly linked with my Electronic Arts EA account.
The base game launches normally and works, but after reinstalling the game and downloading all my DLC again, none of the expansion packs are active in-game.
Before the latest major update, everything worked normally and all DLC were recognized correctly.
In EA App:
- all DLC appear as installed / owned
- some packs show as "in use"
In the in-game store:
- downloaded packs show status "deactivated"
What I already tried:
- reinstalling the game completely
- reinstalling DLC
- verifying game files in Steam
- deleting localthumbcache .package
- restarting Steam and EA App
- logging out and back into EA App
The DLC files exist on disk (Delta folder is present), but the game still does not recognize them.
