Packs/Worlds showing as deactivated in-game/Not active after purchase

for any of those having the same issue with me

no matter what I was doing the expansion packs were not loading but the game packs and stuff packs were.

i see many people having this issue - after a full night of trial and error I found a method that now works and everything loads and shows in game

i found out my sims file was corrupted, deleted the corrupt file and made a whole new folder (renamed the old to ensure it was corrupted)

I then went onto the sims game and went onto marketplace selected my collection then pack selection ensure all are ticked and none are saying deactivated then press confirm to make sure they’re all “active” game will then do a forced restart and then they show 

wish we thought of this last night but let me know if it works for anyone! 

what file did you delete? like it was corrupt cc or your sims mod folder or a folder inside???? 

or a save file??? im cuurently working on this situation now

never mind guys i fixed the issue

Same problem as comments above: downloaded an EP (Seasons) and a GP (StrangerVille) - in My Worlds the World of the EP looks like in the screenshot from Mimabird​ and no way to find the GP objects or gameplays. Restarting, Repairing, nor Re-installing did anything.

turns out it was the packs being deactivated. thanks for the help! although i dont understand why they would make it deactivated by default lol!

I downloaded and installed the new Royalty expansion pack after purchase this morning. I have sense restarted the game, the ea app, the computer and logged in and out of the app and it is still not showing the new content. The new world is unlocked but it is still grey and when I hover over it, it says once it's installed to restart the game... I checked the download manager which says it is downloaded and installed. 

I bought this expansion the morning of 03 / 21 / 2026. When I opened the game, the new pack did not show up as available to play, even though I downloaded it (it is confirmed as downloaded on the EA app). I tried deleting the pack and reinstalling it, restarting the Sims 4, and my computer to no avail.
