I was having this problem last year so I have avoided all my favourite households and saved games for months to avoid ruining them. I started tentatively trying them since the patch and all my old photos on walls and in personal and lot inventories are turning black after I save and return to them. I am also now getting the white painting bug which I never had before. I'm on a mac, no mods.
This is so disappointing. I really hoped after reading the latest laundry list and bug report this issue might finally be fixed after this patch but it seems worse than ever.
I’ve got old saves I can go back to if this is ever fixed but I don’t feel confident to play the game any more right now - I’m at a loss on what to do.
Will we really have to wait another month for the next patch - or maybe even months longer - before there is another hope of this being fixed and being able to play normally again. Or at all. Ever.
