Ideas
- I'm playing on the Steam version of Windows 11.
- I'm using DX11 and memory boost.
- I removed them before the update, but I do use mods. I mainly use MCCC, but I also have two mods that don't affect gameplay, such as brightening Sims.
- The same issue occurs with both new save data and photos from existing save data.
- I've checked photos from my phone, camera, and photo booth, and the same issue occurs with all of them.
- The image quality doesn't seem to be an issue.
- The location of the photos doesn't seem to matter either.
I've tried various things, but it seems that only photos placed in the lot I was in when I last saved are safe.
For example, I place a photo in House A, then go to House B and place another photo there. I save while still in House B, return to the main menu, and reload my data. The photo placed in House B is safe, but the photo placed in House A is black. If I then place a new photo in House A and save and load while still in House A, the new photo placed in House A is safe, but the photo that was previously safe in House B is black.
The painting was the same.
