I don’t plays sims myself but my partner plays on pc and has multiple generations and households he actively plays with and has taking hundreds of photos of his sim family and is having the same issue he does play with some modding but all are up to date and working just fine. He is extremely frustrated and disheartened by this bug. I know if the issue isn’t fixed this will be the quitting point for him. Sad really because he has spent some much time and money into sims 4.
I am so sorry to hear this. I am at the breaking point too.
