Hmm... I don't think a repair would help, but that really sucks. and so weird that I can't recreate it.
and it being all photos makes it tricky.
Before this update, pictures taken with the digital cameras would be the ones to turn black (not bc of the camera specifically) and the phone pictures would be good, even if filters were used.
But since it's all photos it hard to know why this is happening. I've seen in another report that Windows 11 got updated, so there could be a chance that Windows is maybe blocking files. Perhaps the file that could be keeping the photo data? I feel dumb saying that bc I don't really know how it works.
I believe it's called "Smart App Blocker" and you have to turn it off, but that's if you have Win 11.
I don't have windows 11. PROBLEM started for me after the fix update. I RARELY saw this issue before. NOW ALL are bad.
