I see this is an old ticket but I only started experiencing the issue recently (PC). Pictures go black after I put them on the wall - after I return to the game.
I have a theory that it happens if I go to the folder with the pictures and delete or rename any, then all other photos that were taken after the one that I changed lose their link with the game photos. But who knows, maybe they'd still go black even if I didn't do that.
It wasn't this bad in the past. I remember having lots of pictures on the walls, but lately they're very temporary.
