This is really irritating me, so I play a medieval sort of game style and so I don’t use photos I use paint by reference as sort of portraits and recently realised that when they are painted they are blurry (rather than just the clear pixels it usually is) and after a while they always turn white, I saved pictures to the gallery but I mean it makes no difference really because they just end up turning white eventually! Iv repaired the game and cleared cache I don’t understand the issue.
The issue is that Businesses & Hobbies updated some stuff on the back end of every creative task that broke the way things are generated/saved, the Sims Team knows about it, and they choose to work on giving us more bloat that'll break more systems than stopping their shenanigans and fixing something that's honestly a dealbreaker for legacy players. At this point, they're just milking it for more and more money and making the game more and more unplayable. I suggest you take your rig that can play Sims 4 and go back and revisit Sims 3 with just a few packs installed and see how much better it is. No three-times-a-month bracing for impact to see what's going to break this time, too. And their paint-by-reference in Sims 3 are much more interesting. Happy simming!
