Bug Report: All Player-Painted Pictures Turn Blank After Exiting Game (Post-August Update)
Hi, I’d like to report a bug related to the painting system in The Sims 4.
Since the August 2025 update, I’ve been experiencing a consistent issue: whenever my Sim paints a picture and it’s either displayed or stored, everything looks normal during the play session. But after saving and exiting the game, then reloading the save file, all the paintings my Sim created turn completely blank — like empty canvases.
When I draw a picture using the drawing tool as reference, all the pictures are not saved and turn white.
Also, I’ve tested this without any mods or CC installed, and the problem still occurs — so I believe this is a base game issue, not related to mods.
Please look into this bug. It’s especially frustrating for players who enjoy the painting and art features in gameplay.

I am having the same issue and there seems to be no way to avoid it. I thought that I could prevent losing any paintings and photos by saving each room from my sims house in the gallery any time I place a picture, but this bug just hit. Every painting my sim has made is a blank canvas, and when I replaced the room with the gallery save, I find that they are now blank as well.
