Yaay! SimGuruNinja replied in the Q&A that the fix will apply to new photos (not needing a new save, contrary to how it was previously communicated on the laundry list! - unless he didn't notice the detail in the question, but I think we can interpret he did after this was asked multiple times 😅)

This is good news. I was dreading starting new and rebuilding the worlds as a like them. I thinks my teens will wait till after patch before they leave school then i wont loose the graduation photos

But yeah, basically they aren't sure they caught everything as I suspected. I do see a new thread in the near future :D
