I don't have the slightest issues placing lots on that lot in your save game. To be sure, lot type doesn't matter or are residential rentals the issue ?
I've tried (going int the lot from the map)
- Placing a residential lot on the empty lot. Placed without issue and also let me go back to the map.
- Placing another residential lot over that other residential lot
- Replacing that lot with a commercial lot.
- Placing a random r-rental on on that.
Each time I had no issues leaving the lot or placing.
I did not try to move in a family and play.
it's a simple residental. I've had problems placing all kinds, so I don't think it's that for rent bug that's going around.
thank you for trying...! I'll test some more on my side, maybe try a different lot to place? I'm usually careful and check if there are comments saying the builds are broken but maybe I missed it.
