Since last update the game has a major lag issue, animations and music is still playing but sims are stuck, bringing up save menu or going to manage world's and back to household usually fixes it.
Had a sim stuck like that, looks like she was reading to child but no green progress bar on the read to child action, after going to manage world I saw that the read to child aspiration was completed even though it didn't look like she did it. Usually resetting fixed the freezing or glitching outs but this seems to be a different kind of stuck than before so it doesn't help.
The time is still going when they are stuck but when they get unstuck the time often jump back several hours. But kids doesn't come home at 3 pm , more like 6 pm, the day after I don't get the school of work starts in an hour pop up until after 9am, a few times closer to 11am . So time gets affected by the freezing it seems.

Only the brides were frozen. Guests were moving autonomously.

Wedding at venue I've used several times before. Bride walked down the aisle, then turned and walked up the aisle to freeze. Reset object did nothing. Tried reset several times and waited a little while. Then I sent the other bride to interact with her, hoping that would help. It did not. Both brides froze. Merged together strangely in a kiss. Tried going into Build Mode and back. No change. I exited without saving the game.
Outdoor wedding planned ahead but it started raining. Chaotic. Brides didn't want to stand in the rain on the aisle to say their vows. Umbrellas opening & closing everywhere.
