[PSP] Can't put doll in inventory when not in Paranormal career (not owned)

My sim has a Dahlia doll on his lot. Whilst it can be dragged into his inventory, he cannot put it in his inventory via the 'put item in inventory' interaction, as he supposedly does not own the item.

He got it whilst working as a paranormal investigator and has since changed careers, in case it has anything to do with that, although his spectre jar is not affected.

No mods.

    did you move at any point since getting the object ? Do you have just one Sim in your household ? If not, do all of them have the issue ?

    What type of lot are you playing on ?

    There was only one sim in the household, the sim has not moved to another lot, though I did move the object itself. I believe it was a normal residential at the time the bug occurred, but may have been a tiny home residential.

    Could you test if he can use it again if you switch back to paranormal investigator ? Is this the only object you have issues with ?

    This is the only object I've seen issues with so far. He can put it in his inventory when in the career.
