This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5.
The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...

Unfortunately I have this too on Xbox Series X with all content installed. I'm playing today for the second time since the update and my settings in Tutorial and Tips and Other are affected. In particular Trail Animation, Show Controls Legend, Controls Overlay are all checked when they should be unchecked. Hide Reported Content is unchecked when it was checked before. My cursor Speed and Acceleration are both at 100% when I had taken some time to adjust them again to a comfortable speed after the update for my hand problems. Emily is always off but was on after the update. She's not back today but Enable Help Centre Icon was checked again which it should not be.
I think that's everything that's been affected as far as I can tell.
Edit: Mood Sting music is back on in Audio instead of off and all my volumes are at 100% when they were adjusted before. SDX settings in Sims Delivery have changed to 1hr from only on startup (this is important as in the event of SDX I lose my progress if it tries to download while I'm playing).
