[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5. The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...

I am on PS5 and I am having this same issue and two other problems. They all started after the latest patch/update;

1, all game preferences reset whenever I load sims 4.

2, I'm getting a message stating "Connection required. Authentication failed, please log in to EA app to enable features".

3, with laundry day stuff pack, I can't take the washing off the line and even though the washing machine is empty, I can't do laundry because the game states the washing machine is in use.
