This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5.

Latest patch is a mess - default settings reset every time I log in, some weird connection error message, and four of my packs are inaccessible, redownloaded everything but the game just doesn't recognize them. A thread linked below about a "connection is required" issue is marked solved which it definitely is NOT. The proposed solution is to open the Options menu in game, go to Other, and link your EA account. Except that on CONSOLE which the thread is about (or at least on PS5) there is no menu to link your account. There's no field where I can type it in, just various checkboxes. Some lunatic dreamed that answer up or let AI slop out an answer that's for PC and nobody checked anything. Really pathetic that they attempt to gaslight people into believing a fake solution that's not even based in reality. Totally dishonest. So I'll skip your dang game breaking event, no thanks. The only thing in a worse state than the game is this joke of a forum.
