[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5. The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...

PLEASE FIX THIS! Ever since the last update in June my settings keep going back to showing the controls legend and having the controller overlay reminder back on. I have to go into my settings and turn both options off every time I start my game back up. It’s getting really frustrating considering I have been playing the sims 4 on console since 2017 so I definitely do not need the controls blocking a good portion of my screen.
