[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5. The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...

I'm playing on Xbox One and ever since the last update before today's, the controls menu has been displayed in the top right corner of my screen and will not go away, despite some troubleshooting from suggestions on Google. It's blocking like a quarter of my screen and so distracting.

I have tried disabling the help icon, that does nothing. And even if I do disable it, it just reenables itself when I open the game again.
