[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5. The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...

I’m playing The Sims 4 on PlayStation 5, and every time I launch the game, my settings reset to default.

It doesn’t matter how many times I change them — as soon as I reopen the game, everything goes back. I always use the same user account and exit the game properly. The issue keeps happening and it’s really frustrating. Please help or advise if there’s a way to fix this.
