[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

Let's just begin with.. I'm starting to hate anytime there's a new update. Is anyone else experiencing this? I play on the Xbox, have every expansion pack but the latest. Since this last update, it will not save any of my settings, it acts like I just downloaded the packs, everytime I open my save its still there but the stupid tutorials pop up, and all the furniture etc shows as new. I'm pretty much just pulling my hair out and giving up on playing it for now.
