This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5.
The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...
Ideas
I play on xbox series x console and I launched my xbox on offline mode/disconnected from the internet to avoid downloading and installing the 7/16/25 update and getting more glitches. When I got to the main menu of sims 4 while disconnected from the internet all of my game settings were not reset and are what I set them to last time I played and my performance is a lot better. My performance hasn't been this good in years. I guess maybe this bug is related to being online with online settings.
