[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

This just started happening after the latest patch. I'm on PS5. The opening music doesn't stop once you get to the main menu, or even if you go to CAS, and my game preferences like audio volume, SD...

for me on xbox series x console the game settings also reset after launching the game when using a keyboard and mouse, except for the setting options that dont show up and are not available to select when using a keyboard and mouse such as the trail animation. So its not related to using a controller.
