[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

Console player. Since the latest update, the game is now back to defaulting the settings every time I open it (such as the control overlay icons, help/tutorial settings, etc), and also showing that packs I have owned for a while are now new again, furniture, etc. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. It was like this before and the previous "update" fixed it now with the most recent one it's back again. It's getting a little ridiculous. I also can't just "turn off" the updates. I can take it offline, but as soon as I turn it back on to be able to have access to the gallery or whatnot, it requires it and won't let me play till I do.
