[PS/XB] Game preferences resetting

Just to clarify. I am able to change the settings to play the game the way I like it once I log in.  But after saving and quitting and then coming back to the game, the settings are back to default and I need to make the adjustments to my game settings each time.  It's really annoying.  Not sure if this is a really bad "feature" or a bug. But it's a terrible QOL downgrade. I'm on XBOX Series X with all expansion and game packs.

After the 6/17/25 update my game setting preferences of these things are resetting every time I relaunch the game on xbox series x console.

Audio 

• game music volume option for the game music of main menu and loading screens keeps resetting to 100% volume
• enable mood sting option keeps getting reset to on.
• Match speed stereo music keeps getting reset to on.

Tutorial & tips

• Enable help center icon keeps getting reset to on.

Sims delivery

• Check for sims deliveries keeps getting reset to every 1 hour.
• Automatically download keeps getting reset to on.

Other

• Trail animation keeps getting reset to on.
• show controls legend keeps getting reset to on.
• controls overlay reminder keeps getting reset to on.
• enable in-game surveys keeps getting reset to on.
• share usage data keeps getting reset to on.
• Auto reconnect keeps getting reset to on.

Thankfully none of the gameplay, pack, and weather settings are getting reset though. 

Also, I don't know if its related, but my game has been lagging more, and the loading screens are longer since the 6/17/25 update. It might be because some of these settings keep getting turned back on. I keep a lot of those settings turned off for better performance.

Hello I bought Sims 4 I've been having it for quite a while it had a glitch problem that it was stopped in the middle of a game that I'm paying Sims and then I will have to report it I was okay with that and now it's I have to accept EA cookies when I log into the game every time and adjust the picture to my TV screen and the game will not connect to the Internet so I can't get any news from The Sims because it won't connect to the internet and even though my game system is connected to the internet the game itself won't connect to the internet

I'm on PS4. Even though I have saved the settings to disable the Help Center Icon and the Controls Legend/Overlay, it resets every time I turn off my console; forcing me to disable these settings again every time I launch the game. It also reset the music volume up to 100% My other settings prior to the update seem to have maintained; however, I disabled acne after the update and that also resets. I am now testing some Lovestruck options.

Ever since the most recent update, I now have to reset my sound controls everytime I start The Sims.

I am also having this issue. All my settings keep reverting to default

Ever since the latest update a few days ago, every time I load up the game my camera settings revert. Idk about sound since I play with it off.  This is on Xbox series X but I'm assuming other consoles are affected too.

It is happening with any settings found in game options.  Some don’t save at all, others are only saved for the current game session.  I end up having to change camera settings and tool menu every time I start the game.
I’m on Xbox, and no amount of uninstalling/reinstalling, deleting save files, deleting cloud data, or resetting the Xbox fixes it.  I

Hi team, I have to revert it every time I reload into the game. I’m on PS5 - can we fix this, I don’t want to have to do this every time.
