Railings missing on lots created before Patch 1.121.342

Vanilla Game. Lots from my Library and Base Game premades have all lost their railings.

You can see that there are railing from Map View. They've disappeared when you go into Build/Buy.

I’m having the same issue. Every lot I go no matter the save file and no matter the world, all railings are gone. It’s not that bad in the grand scheme of things but it’s still annoying. 

I also have this issue, no mods installed and only the base game installed rn! did they even open the game before releasing this patch? that's a glaringly massive oversight ugh.

Additional note:

This issue does not occur in lots that were built after the update, nor in lots that were modified and saved after the update.

Lots that were saved to the Gallery after the update also do not experience railing disappearance when placed.

This issue is strictly limited to stair railings that were created before the update.

After the update on February 3, 2026, I found a bug where railings in houses created before the update disappear.

This issue also occurs when placing houses saved in the Gallery—the railings disappear in the same way.

I confirmed this behavior on PC in an environment where no MODs are enabled.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this issue and consider a fix in a future update.

I'm able to add railings. The issue is more that all railings that already existed in saves prior to the update have been removed. I would have to go into every build and add railings, even though they were there prior to the update.

Click on the stairs. There should be a drop down menu to add railings to either side or both.

Sul sul! After the Feb. 3rd update, stair railings no longer appear on existing builds (including base game builds and builds from the gallery) in my saves. I play on my MacBook air and do not use any mods or CC. Game version is 1.121.342.1230.
