Railings missing on lots created before Patch 1.121.342

RIP all my railings.

oh wow my entire save file is rip, i havent play since september or so 🤣

PS5 console player here. My game is basically unplayable, when I open the cheat bar, and keyboard, it won’t go away unless I switch to Manage Worlds, and even then it comes right back when I try to enter a cheat. Even going to the main menu and reloading my save doesn’t fix it. I’ve never had this issue before. Please fix this so I can actually play, this is ridiculous. Thanks, Sims Team.

I’m a PS5 console player and I’m experiencing a serious issue with the cheat bar/keyboard that is making the game nearly unplayable.

I tried creating a new game and using cheats. At first, the cheat bar worked normally, but eventually it stopped closing. Once the cheat bar gets stuck, I can’t click on anything in live mode unless I pause the game and go to the main menu, Manage Worlds, Settings, etc.

If I go to Manage Worlds and select a household, the cheat bar becomes stuck again. Reloading a save or creating an entirely new save does not fix the issue,

the cheat bar still gets stuck every time.

I’ve never had this problem before and have tried multiple workarounds with no success. This issue is extremely frustrating and completely disrupts gameplay for console players who use cheats.

Please look into this and fix the issue so the game is playable again.

Since the new update for console, the cheat bar gets stuck on the screen. It still works and I can enter cheats, but it will not close afterward.

I’ve tested this multiple times across multiple new save files, and the issue happens every time. The only thing I can close is the PlayStation on screen keyboard used to enter cheats, the cheat bar itself remains stuck on the screen.

Because the cheat bar won’t close, it prevents normal gameplay and makes it difficult to interact with anything unless I pause the game or switch to menu.

I normally don’t come on here to create threads or comments. Bug fixes are irritating, but I usually trust they’ll eventually be resolved. With this game, though, it’s hard to tell if new issues will actually be fixed, especially since the game has been broken in multiple ways for a long time.

I eventually got tired of dealing with it and felt the need to speak up, especially about this current issue affecting console players. Problems like this make normal gameplay unnecessarily difficult and take away from the experience.

Please fix this issue and address the ongoing problems in the game so I can continue building and enjoying the lore and stories that players end up creating themselves. Thank you.

Same here! I even tried to remove stairs and add new ones, dumbest mistake ever. Stairs removed just fine but I couldn’t place new stairs inside my house. The only place where I could place stairs was outside, but then I wasn’t able to move or remove them. I just force quit my game without saving and I think I’ll wait to play until a bug fix releases. 
also no mods and cc used 

Yeah, I've tested all of my saves, WITHOUT cc and mods, and even started a brand new save just to see. All of the railings are gone and I hope this upcoming fix actually restores all of the railings. It's very annoying to deal with this nonsense especially as a builder and someone that has put alot of hours into their builds. I normally am not too vocal on here, but I had to say something. This is very bad.

wasn't caring to much about the railings missing all i had wanted was my big save back why i haven't been playing much because of the broken update that we got on Feb, 3rd  

 Stair railings will no longer be missing on premade lots, Gallery Lots, and player-created lots.

Fixed in update 1.121.361/ 2.29
