Hey Simmers,
I need to talk about something that’s been bothering me (and many of you) for way too long: the indoor rain bug in The Sims 4. For those who haven’t experienced it, imagine your Sims trying to live their best lives, only to have rain pouring inside their homes, soaking everything and ruining the immersion. It’s been two months since this issue first appeared, and despite countless reports and complaints, EA has yet to address it.
This isn’t just a minor visual glitch – it’s a game-breaking bug that makes it incredibly frustrating to play. How are we supposed to enjoy building and decorating our homes when rain decides to ignore walls and roofs? It’s immersion-breaking, annoying, and honestly, it feels like EA isn’t listening to the community.
We’ve been patient, but two months is way too long for such a glaring issue to go unresolved. The Sims community is one of the most dedicated and creative out there, and it’s disheartening to see our feedback seemingly ignored. We deserve better.
EA, please acknowledge this bug and give us a timeline for a fix. This isn’t just about rain indoors – it’s about respecting the players who have supported this game for years. Let’s not let this drag on any longer.
What do you think, Simmers? Have you been dealing with this bug too? Let’s make sure our voices are heard!

Well said! this should be a top priority issue. It sucks having to turn off a big part of the game because of how immersion breaking it is

I question about how we will be making our voices heard beyond constant posts piling up under this thread. Any proposal?
