Retail employees fail to respond to assigned tasks

Retail employees fail to respond to assign task every time, more specifically to ring out customers , meaning they don't do anything but move around and getting paid. In addition, Household member take 20 min or more(in game time) start to ring out customers , by the time they respond to the command 6 customers are gone . Lastly, the retail perks and their usage are misaligned, the additional employees perk is bought but its locked when its time to hire . Thank you for your attention
