[RL] Sims in Dynasty suddenly despise each other

In my case husband and wife started to hate each other living on the same lot! And both friendship and romance bars are almost fully red. 

Maybe it's because their values are contradicting? It adds drama that I don't hate, 

I have this issue to, 2 times now in different saves my sim marries a sim he joins the dynasty and household and within a day they have the poor leadership and secret witness sentiments and he starts to be mean to my sim and and then my sim is mean to him. Its hard to keep the relationship positive and really annoying because now they have all these negative memories to that keep popping up. My game is on pc and CC and Mod free and always has been. 

I've discovered that the issue is the same across all dynasties, even premade ones. Tried reloading a backup save -- did not fix the issue. The trigger for everyone in the dynasty suddenly going to 100% despise is clicking the checkmark in the Dynasty Details menu, even if you don't adjust any of the details. You CAN click the x button at the top without triggering the issue. Until they fix this, I'm just playing without touching the Dynasty Details button.

In the family dynasty, on the same lot. Now they are rivals! And I can't end the rivalry because they are both in the same dynasty on the same land! They are brother and sister ( Alexander and Kassandra Goth btw)

This has happened to me in a new save file with three sisters created in CAS for exploring the new gameplay. All three of them are best friends and have good and family sort of traits. Nothing that would trigger any kind of ick. Within minutes of founding the Dynasty and adding the two sisters as members there was a mood called aggravating leadership which caused them to always have an red angry buff. They are the sweetest sisters otherwise so this is really confusing. (I also do not know if it's related but these same three sisters keep getting a very disconcerting "That was so HOT" buff referencing dueling with an attractive person each time they practice swordfighting too--feels like the buffs in the game are not respecting relationship dynamics at all right now?) 

I do play with mods, though I had very few ones that were updated currently in my folder. I can share the save file if that would be helpful. Thank you kindly.

sannajopink​ I have had some of those same issues. The buffs are really weird -like the "hot" swordfight with non-romantic family members - gross. 😖

And my husband and wife have bad buffs because she is Queen, and the husband views her as a rival even though he has the title King. It is creating all sorts of bad things in their relationship. The wife feels compelled to apologize all the time, he critizices her poor leadership, and their perfect relationship keeps deteriotating even though I used cheats to get it back to 100% it drops down way too quickly.

Their personalities and prefrences all lined up. Everything was in perfect order until she was promoted to Queen. I wanted them to be a good, loving team. NOT Rivals who despise each other. It is ruining this entire pack for me. I feel so extremely disappointed. 😞

I want an option where we can choose to have close family/friends NOT be Rivals. I think that would help so much.

I might have found a solution to this by talking to a modder (Tyjkor! THANKSSS!!) who told me that it looks like the issues were caused by the "Poor Leadership" relationship bit. Basically, you have to edit the relbit off of the characters to stop the bad behavior. I have played all day and NO BAD MOODS! No anger at all! It seems like this relbit got added to everyone in my household. I am not entirely sure if it's EVERYONE or not I haven't yet checked--I was just TOOOO happy to have my precious sisters back to normal again! 

I used MCCC to remove the relbit from the sisters (and assume it would work to remove it from anyone else it got added to!) I am not sure if there's a specific cheat to remove this relbit or not but it was super easy with MCCC. (I hope it's okay to give instructions here--if not please remove them mods!)

--ensure testing cheats are on

--make your Queen your active sim

--click on your Queen's husband (King)

--open the MCCC menu

--scroll down to the bottom to "Relationships" and click to the next menu

--scroll down to the bottom to "Relationship Bits" and click to the next menu

--click "Remove Relationship Bit" 

--scroll through the bits to find the one that is from the Royalty and Legacy expansion--it should reference something about "poor leadership" 

--click it to remove it

After that you should be able to close the windows and your sims relationship should return to normal. Not gonna lie, I did edit a few of the other relbits from the negative behavior out too so that it was like resetting them to their original friendship/relationship dynamics without any hurt past feelings. (I used cheats to remove the negative milestones and such too lol I just couldn't handle my babies being so mean to each other!)

(PS I did NOT find any relbits that would remotely explain the horrifying act of becoming flirty with  your family members thus far. Thinking it's a different issue than this one all together!)

sannajopink​   Thank you so much!!! I was able to follow your excellent instructions and remove the Poor Leadership and a couple other negative bits. It has improved their relationship!

The husband's career panel still shows his wife as a rival, and while that is annoying, I am hoping at least now their relationship can stay good! I currently have him as her advisor and that has given them a positive relationship bit.
