[RL] Third generation Children of unplayed Nobles not receiving Titles

Did you read the threads on the side that explain how the bug forum works ? Threads on the same topic are merged. You don't need to make a new one unless it says FIXED or is closed for some reason. This one is very much open and you can just post/upvote.

Once there are enough votes (how many is up to the discretion of Maxis), it will be looked into.

If you make a new post, you're just splitting upvotes and it's less likely to get looked into.

This thread had more upvotes than the other so this was the master. It's important to search first if there's another report for this very reason.

crinrict​ My post was moved here and the original post says "awaiting additional reports" but my post was an additional report and it was being upvoted and now no one will see it? It's impossible to get additional reports when that happens, I don't understand how this system makes sense at all. 

Children of nobles don't pass on the titles automatically to their children. 

First generation noble children receive their titles correctly, but when those children grow up and have children of their own, the next generation does not receive a title.

It happens with both births and adoptions. It also happens both when the parent has title from their parents and/or has joined the Noble career. 

The only workaround I've found is to promote/demote them and that gives the children their titles, but it's inconvenient and not how it's expected to work. It becomes an issue with unplayed households too as eventually there ends up being no other noble legacies if you don't have story progression turned on.

So I figured out the issue I think. 

I renamed the folder and started  a new save completely from scratch with no Mods/CC. 

Children of Nobles do receive their titles which was the original bug that is now fixed. However, once these children grow up to have their own, their children don't receive titles. This happens even when they are are in the Noble career before giving birth. It happens when they try to adopt too. I have to demote/promote them to get the title. 

I hope that makes sense, it's a bit confusing to explain but it seems the bug is fixed only for first generation nobles, and when their kids go on to have kids, the same issue as before happens. 

Just curious if it's an issue still on new saves.

There's another issue where they switch all the time now so maybe on existing save it only fixes itself when you load into the household ?
