One Sim in my household that I play, his eyes will not stay the assigned color I give him, I do change them back in "CAS" or "Manage Household" but when I save and exit out of either of those, the eyes keep changing to a different color and not the one I picked. I need help or any solutions? I have tried all I could but nothing is working.

I am also having the issue of not having the eyes or fangs for my vampire. Quite honestly it may have been happening for awhile now and I just noticed it in my game. My vampire sim now looks nothing like how I created it. I hope they fix this issue soon. Even though I know it isn't likely considering this post has been here for 5 months already. I am also playing on a PC.

I have found a temporarily solution until EA Fix this bug. Someone from discord recommended me this mod to me, its called "Vampire Details & Eyes for All - Vampires GP needed" by DarkSuperNinja from Sims 4 resources. I tested it from my game and its worked, the vampire fangs and features stays after exiting CAS in normal form. Use this mod until EA Fixed the bug.
Unfortunately a mod fix for this bug doesn't help console players. I'm hoping ea doesn't decide to ignore this bug forever and expect people to just use a mod to fix this bug. Like how it seems they have expected people to use a mod to fix the bug "Re: [OPEN] [V] [W] Werewolves/Vampire Super Speed is Broken" which has been unfixed for atleast 2 years now.
Unfortunately this isn’t really a fix as a majority of players are on console and there are no ways to mod on console. This only gives half the community a solution while the rest of us are patiently waiting for any sort of insight, news, comments, or communication of any sort. I’ll take a **bleep** sneeze if it gives us some sort of response.
Glad to hear there is a work around for PC players at least. I believe there is an issue. But could someone please explain to me what triggers the problem.
I play on PC. I do have the sims 4 and the vampire pack for console too. But from a PC perspective I am quite confused now. When I posted yesterday I was having issues like everyone else is having. But that save I had with mods and cc enabled. I thought I would see what happens by disabling mods and cc and play on a save that i have that isn't using mods or CC. Right now in my save without mods or CC, my vampire sim has the eyes and fangs that I have chosen for him. I can go in change his eyes and teeth and they remain the ones I chose.
But I know you can't have mods or CC on console. So that doesn't explain why it is happening there. So I am wondering if there is something that triggers the bug to activate. I am trying to see if it will replicate on my save without mods or CC on it. So I am confused and just trying to get more information about the bug from others who have been affected by it.
Update: I was able to get the bug to occur on my save without mods and cc. It was triggered by traveling from one lot back home. So I am no longer confused now.
For me one thing that always triggers this bug on spellcaster and vampire children, teens, young adult, adult, and elder is if they join a career or after school activity. after the 10/22/24 update all my already existing vampire and spellcasters that have had any job or after school activity at any point in their existence were automatically bugged wether they were saved to my library or in live mode. My favorite vampire sim and all of his decendents are bugged now except for 2 slacker teens.
the only careers i noticed that did not trigger this bug for me was one of the freelance careers. I only tested the programmer related one.
Once again, there are NO reasonable workarounds with this bug, even on PC. Stop repeating this misinformation. I've tried all possible mods and none helps. There are mods that clones occult features making them basically non-occult. SO yeah, you kinda can recreate your sims with this mod. MANUALLY. While possible (in theory), for players like me with dozens of sims to recreate this is a task too monumental to take.
For people that have one or two, maybe even 10 sims to recreate - sure, go for it.

Unfortunately, those with dozens of sims to recreate may end up deleting those sims eventually anyways. There is no guarantee that if or when EA fixes the bug, that the eyes and teeth on those occult sims will return to how they were set up to start with. Nor is it likely that people may remember what color eyes and what teeth they gave their occult sims. Yes, this bug is devastating and has done a lot of damage to people's sims. Unless someone wrote down what eyes and teeth they used on a specific sim or saved pictures of the sims when they created them, they may have a hard time fixing them when the bug is fixed. That is also if it is ever fixed. I would rather use a mod that would allow my sim to look how I designed them to look in the meantime until the bug is possibly fixed.
