After most recent patch I noticed the inappropriate romantic relationship among family members (parent/child) bug. See attached showing the character's TEEN SON. Never experienced this bug before but I've heard about it.

did you try removing all your mods/cc and see if it happens on a vanilla game ?
I do, unfortunately. I have used UI cheats, and MCCC, and just regular vanilla cheats to remove the romance (or at least reassert the Sibling relationships) and they just keep coming back. I did remove a mod I had (Ballroom Dancing) that had an interaction that showed up for everyone as romantic despite family relationships, but that doesn't seem to have fixed it.
Step-siblings don't count as close-family members as far as I'm aware.
Do you have it among non-step relationships ?
This keeps happening to me, too! I fix the relationship, getting rid of both the 'romantic interest' sentiment and the relationship. After going to another household and playing it, it comes back again! Still trying to figure out if it's my mods or not--will update after I get to test vanilla.
Forgot to add, this is specifically happening to siblings--my own and EA Townies. In one save, every single Sim with a sibling had a romantic track.

Yeah. Of course, they're step-siblings. So far no other issues with say, aged up Amy Prescott and her sister Molly.

Yes they do get a romance bar and he was caught by his fiancé and it ruined their relationship. I don't know what specific action caused it because I wasn't paying attention and he did it autonomously.
Do they get an actual romance bar ? Is that what you mean by romantic issues or do you mean they get jealous ?
Are there any specific interactions they do on their own ?
No, no mods at all.
