I am also suddenly having these issues with raining inside. Have tried deleting and reinstalling roofs. PC, no mods.
My sims are all sad about being wet outside in the rain 😭😭
I believe it's more a visual glitch than a build issue. Fixing walls, roofs etc has not worked. It needs to be fixed with a patch and hopefully soon
