5 months. We've been waiting for this fix for 5 months. This isn't a small bug, it's HORRIBLE. They keep releasing expansions, but they can't fix the many bugs. Some, like this one, make the game horrible.
Not to mention the wolves with no color on their noses and eyes, which look disgusting. Or the change to the text in the wolf dance, and we could go on and on about player requests that aren't being taken into account. And I'm sorry to sound toxic and angry, but sometimes it seems like a joke. I've been playing the Sims since Sims 1 came out.
I'm not holding my breath. I'll keep posting about this issue if it doesn't get fixed in a following update.
