So it only took the bug to be in the game for about a year before they finally figured it out. I say that because I noticed it started in my game in July 2024. I am waiting as I can't play the game until the fix is confirmed.
Why don't you simply turn off rain and snow for now? That's how I've dealt with it. Once the bug is fixed, then we can turn it back on. I refuse to not play the game. I'm also certain this hasn't been an easy thing to sort out. There were reasons why we couldn't have weather in Sims2. Raining indoors couldn't be overridden for some reason. May have been the game engine, or something.
