Severe lag after 1 hour of gameplay : requires restart

I've been having this same issue since some time around mid to late 2024.

I would like to preface this by briefly explaining that I do play with CC, but I do not play with any mods. I have tried playing the game both with, and without any CC in my game, and the issue is still present in both cases.

For context, I was gifted Growing Together, Cottage Living, Horse Ranch, and For Rent for Christmas back in 2023. I didn't get around to installing and playing those packs until January of 2024. At that time, the game ran smoothly. No lag, no performance issues no matter how long I chose to play for. I continued to play the game almost everyday for around two months without any issues. Sometime later in 2024, most likely after an update (although I could not even give you an educated guess on which one), the game started having issues. Mind you, this was without the addition of any new content.

It would run smoothly for, as the original poster said, about an hour. After that, the game would start lagging so bad, it was literally unplayable. This same lag did eventually start happening in my CAS, and there are times where restarting my entire PC is the only thing that fixes it.

I would like to note that I also had Get To Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Discover University, Snowy Escape, Dine Out, Vampires, Parenthood, Jungle Adventure, StrangerVille, Realm of Magic, Luxury Party Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Laundry Day Stuff, My First Pet Stuff, Fashion Street, Blooming Rooms, Desert Luxe, and Holiday Celebration at the time I got Growing Together, Cottage Living, Horse Ranch, and For Rent. Since then, I have only bought Eco Lifestyle and Werewolves, and that was a few months ago.

This issue is still ongoing, and only seems to get worse over time.
