I am using the new dirty fingernails nail. I will try that. After playing again for a while my Sim turned shiny again. Got a screenshot.
So went into CAS and removed the fingernails. Went back into live mode and the shiny thingy was gone. I have to play for a while to see if that was the problem as it does not always happen right away. Hopefully this was the problem, will keep you posted.
My sim is working in the naturopath career and was finally able to see clients at home. She changed into her work outfit and then the shiny overlay started again. I just made her change her outfit and it got back to normal. So the work outfit is definitely broken for me.
The work outfit probably still has the nails.
