Sims are not moving/Freezing/Animation problems (after Patch 1.112)

Crazy that the post detailing the bugs being fixed in the November 4th updates makes zero mention of this issue 😒. So frustrating.

Hello, I am having a similar issue. It began after the September 18th, 2025 patch (Version 1.118.242.1030). My sims will get stuck performing an interaction for an extremely long time (3-4 in-game hours). In addition, any other sim on the lot who isn't performing an action will be stuck standing still, or doing an animation if they were performing an action. I.e., my sim was painting, she gets stuck performing one painting animation along with any other sim on the lot, the painting won't progress and her task bar completion bar won't progress but once the lag stops the completion bar will go to the end quickly and the painting will become finished. I noticed it happens 100% of the time when my sim is holding a class at her small business, but sometimes happens at other times as well. 

The lag will not stop even if I reset the sim. Clicking on anything while the game is desynced will be extremely delayed, i.e. if I click on another sim it will take 2-3 seconds for the wheel to appear when it normally appears almost immediately. If I turn on speed 3 during the desync the time will start skipping forwards and backwards erratically.

I tried removing all mods and cc, deleting EA app and Sims 4 cache files, repairing the game (without mods installed), creating a new save, to no avail. The same issue occurs in new saves periodically and almost immediately if I start running a lecture using the hobby board from Businesses and Hobbies.

General info: I play on Windows PC, this issue was replicated with mods and cc removed, game repaired (after mod removal), and caches deleted (after mod removal). 

Also, funny how support hasn’t said a single thing, even though they’re closing new tickets and redirecting them to this case/chat. It’s been two weeks since the update was released, and not a word. Very professional.

Popping in here again to share my frustration. Why is this taking so long to fix? Unplayable with multiple sims.

The same is happening to me. Recently the past few weeks I’ve only been building but when I played with my sim I saw this issue so I immediately removed my cc and mods thinking that was the issue but still nothing. My sim will do tasks like wash hands but they stay in the same spot and won’t actually move to the sink, I’m glad I’m not alone in this as it was such a huge shock but it’s very sad this is happening due to not being able to play the game because of this issue. 

Just wondering if there has been any updates to fix this issue yet? It has been 15 days since the release and I would love to play ... also would like to do the event. 

I’ve noticed this too! I don’t have adventure awaits, but I noticed recently my sims just stand around before doing the task. Sometimes they stand there for like a half an hour in game before doing things.

My sims won’t do anything until they are about to die from it they just stand there the whole time the won’t feed themselves or sleep when tired they won’t watch tv they won’t answer the door they just stand there I’ve tried purging all my mods creating a new sim re downloading the game repairing files an everything an it’s always the same I have full autonomy on please help I don’t know what to 

Sims stand still and do nothing. It then goes away and it's there again. It's unplayable. This is also there without mods. It''s a New save also so it can't be the problem.

Hello I'm in need of help cause my household sims don't do anything unless I make them I checked to make sure full autonomy was on and yes it's on I deleted the cache files still nothing I thought maybe it's my mods nope I updated them still nothing I removed all trace of mods still nothing he'll I even uninstall and reinstall the sims and still nothing I don't know what to do at this point
