Sims cancelling actions with infants and constantly putting on the ground

Yes this is happening constantly to me, so much that I worry about the infants getting taken away for low needs!

Agreed, infants are a big problem in other Sims' queues. In addition to the issue with Sims cancelling care actions and just picking up/putting down the infants, there is the behavior I think is related where all the Sims in the house constantly swarm around the baby and try to do things to it. I think these competing actions (check infant, pick up infant, etc) cancel each other out and babies end up being a) endlessly pestered when they are trying to sleep or b) put on the ground/floor. Maybe we just need other Sims to be less obsessed with nearby infants!

I literally had to turn off autonomy because of this. I had to download additional mods stopping them from picking them up and checking on them which then they would use the wrong care for the infant. I also keep getting my infant/toddler and caregiver reset when changing the diapers on the changing table. I had to download a mod for that one too.
